One record, multiple views
Add a relative once and use the same person and relationship data across pedigree, fan-chart, landscape, and decorative views. This reduces repeated entry and keeps corrections consistent throughout the tree.
Family history that holds more than names
A useful family tree should show relationships and preserve the evidence, stories, images, and uncertainty behind them. Surreality Family Legacy connects those materials in a private workspace designed for ongoing family research.
FamilySearch Beta: A FamilySearch account is required. FamilySearch confirmed Surreality’s registered realm and redirect URI on September 25, 2026.

Attach dates, places, records, memories, photographs, and source notes to the relevant person. Record what is documented, what came from a family account, and what still needs verification.
Family Legacy saves supported work to the current browser. Export GEDCOM, SVG, or image backups for portability and long-term safekeeping. Browser data can be lost if site storage is cleared, so important trees should always have an independent backup.
Use searches and FamilySearch Beta results as research leads. Review possible matches and duplicates, keep FamilySearch identifiers, and confirm proposed changes before any supported contribution is submitted.
